Amendment of Ordinance No. 1 of 1875, s. 5.

3. Section 5 of the Naval Establishments Police Ordin- ance, 1875, is amended-

(a) by the substitution of the word "section" for the word "Ordinance" in the second line thereof;

(b) by renumbering the said section as sub-section (2) thereof;

(c) by the insertion of the following sub-section as sub- section (1) thereof :-

(1) The Commodore or officer in charge of the Royal Naval Establishments on shore may make rules and regulations for the government of the police force employed in the said Establishments.

(d) by the deletion of the words "to be laid before Legislative Council" in the marginal note thereto.
